Butterfield Water Treatment Plant - Chlorine Exercise

On the morning of June 03, 1998, FCEM conducted an exercise of the Butterfield Water Treatment Plant in downtown Pasco. The exercise simulated a chlorine release from the Butterfield Water Treatment Plant. Over 70 volunteers played the part of neighborhood residents that would be affected by the simulated emergency. The drill tested Franklin County's capability to monitor, decontaminate and register patients at the Tri Cities hospitals participating in the mass casualty exercise. Following is pictures that were taken during the drill.
