Emergency Worker Assistance Center (EWAC) Exercise
On June 22, 2002, FCEM conducted a Department of Energy-Richland (DOE-RL) EWAC drill. The drill was conducted in the City of Pasco. The Columbia Basin College (CBC) was the facility where all the action took place. The drill tested Franklin County's capability to monitor, decontaminate and shelter residents evacuating from areas in Franklin County near the Hanford site. Following is a number of pictures that were taken during the drill.
