Emergency Worker Assistance Center (EWAC) Exercise


On June 17, 2000, FCEM conducted a FEMA required Emeregency Worker Assistance Center (EWAC) drill for Energy Northwest. The drill was conducted in the City of Connell. The Connell High School was the facility where all the action took place. The drill tested Franklin County's capability to monitor, decontaminate and shelter residents evacuating from areas in Franklin County near the Columbia Generating Station. Following is a number of pictures that were taken during the drill.
